Rev. Jay Ettinger ( Minister )

Jay joined our St. Andrew’s family in the fall of 2005. He came to us from his ministry with the people in Port Elgin, New Brunswick. Jay is a graduate of Acadia University where he received his Bachelor of Arts with Honours (1999) and Queen’s University where he received his Master of Divinity with a Concentration in Restorative Justice (2002).

Jay was ordained into ministry with the United Church of Canada in May of 2002. An advocate for the marginalized of our society, Jay works tirelessly to spread Christ’s message of all-inclusive love.  It is his hope that during his years here at St. Andrew’s United Church he will be able to work with the people to create an exciting and vibrant community, where all people will feel embraced and welcomed, challenged and nurtured, called and answered.
