Action that can be taken to help learn about and stop the Military Detention of Palesteinian children:
1) Check out website Canadian movement that the United Church is taking part in: https://nwttac.dci-palestine.org/
2) Join other churches and justice-seeking organizations actively lobbying the Canadian government “to ensure the human rights of Palestinian children are protected by instructing a Special Envoy to promote, monitor and report on the human rights situation of Palestinian children living in the occupied Palestinian Territory and Gaza.” Use the attached template to send a letter or email to the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
3) Look at the "Follow up Actions for Children's Sunday" provided by Region 15.

Meet Shannon MacLean

Hello St Andrews Family!

It is 8 days since I officially began as your minster here at St Andrews.
I have been working hard to get all set up. Already we have tapped two worship services.
The first was to say goodbye to Keith who had loved you and cared for you these past 3 1/2 years.
And the second is my preaching premiere (for you)! It  go up on Sunday at 11 AM !
I made you this little (very unprofessional) introduction video since we cannot all get together !
I know it is a little silly, but these times require creativity !
